How We Work
What We Do / Don't Do
-
We visit the property and complete a site inspection.
-
The site inspection will include any readings, photographs, and a small report on findings.
-
Thermal imaging to assess the affected areas.
-
INTRUSIVE and NON-INTRUSIVE surveys/measurements and readings. This is essential to understand the extent of any moisture and remediation works required. This will include small holes for moisture testing and/or borescopes to inspect damage and mould contamination in walls.
-
Water extraction where required.
-
Drying of building elements prior to completion of any repairs. Please note that this is a VERY IMPORTANT step. Any moisture that remains within building elements WILL lead to more mould growth and contamination.
-
Clean, treat and manage mould contamination. This may include encapsulating mould. We also treat affected areas with a mould inhibitor prior to final repairs being completed.
-
Complete any cosmetic repairs to walls etc.

Remedial Works / Cleaning - What We Don't Do
-
We do not complete any specialist works (waterproofing, membranes, carpets, structural repairs, plumbing, electrical or carpets but will co-ordinate with any installers as required).
-
Where any chemical testing and/or sampling is required for insurance purposes, this should be completed by an Occupational Hygienist or external provider. Please note that these are generally very expensive and are not allowed for in any quotes provided.
-
WorkSafe regulations do not permit any of our staff to move furniture or items on display cases, dressers, bookcases etc. Where required the occupant will be advised to relocate any valuables or sensitive equipment. Photos will be taken prior to works to verify any issues or damage noted.
-
We do not enter any confined spaces such as ceilings, under crofts or any such areas.
-
The occupant is responsible for making all mould areas accessible for the treatment process so the job can proceed efficiently.
-
We are not bond cleaners. Where mould growth is encouraged by poor housekeeping, we will advise and recommend a bond cleaner be engaged to clean any surfaces or areas as applicable.
