Please secure or remove valuables and fragile items, and keep children and pets clear of the work area, before we attend. We take reasonable care on site, but we are not responsible for pre-existing damage, or for items or areas we were asked to work around that were not disclosed to us.

References to the IICRC S500 or S520, ANSI standards, or any Australian guideline indicate the standards our work aims to follow. Such references do not imply endorsement, accreditation or certification by those bodies unless separately and expressly stated, and do not guarantee any particular result.

A workmanship warranty, where given, covers our own work only. It does not cover pre-existing defects, normal wear and tear, misuse, neglect, or use other than for the intended purpose, any tampering with or modification of our work, work carried out by others, materials or products supplied by others, or damage arising from a cause outside our control — including an underlying leak, moisture source or building defect that has not been rectified.

Materials, equipment, fittings and products carry only the warranty offered by their manufacturer or supplier, which we pass on to you where it is transferable. A warranty may not apply where the property is altered, further damaged, or worked on by others after we finish, or where our care or maintenance advice is not followed. Our SafeSpace re-clean guarantee, where offered, applies only on the terms and within the timeframe stated at the time of your quote.

None of the above limits or excludes any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

11Your Australian Consumer Law rights

Nothing in these disclaimers excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where our liability cannot be excluded, it is limited — to the extent permitted by law — to re-supplying the relevant services, or paying the cost of having them re-supplied.

12Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Integrated Property Care and its crews are not liable for any loss, damage, cost or injury arising from your reliance on any general information, guide or infographic on this website, or from any action taken without a professional, on-site assessment of your property.

13Liability for our work

To the maximum extent permitted by law, and subject always to your Australian Consumer Law rights set out above, our total liability to you for any claim connected with our services — whether in contract, negligence or otherwise — is limited to re-supplying the affected work, or paying the reasonable cost of having it re-supplied.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss — including loss of rent or income, business interruption, loss of use, or the cost of alternative accommodation — however it arises. Nothing in this clause limits or excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law.

14Photos of our work

We may take before, during and after photographs of our work for quality, record and marketing purposes. Any images we use publicly are de-identified — we do not publish your name or address. If you would prefer we did not use images of your job, just let us know and we will not.
