Wiping mould off doesn’t remove it
Spraying bleach on visible mould might make it disappear for a while, but it doesn’t remove the spores or fix why it grew — so it comes back, often worse. And disturbing mould the wrong way sends spores through the rest of the house.
Proper mould removal means containing the area so spores can’t spread, physically removing the mould with HEPA filtration, and treating the surfaces — all while wearing the right protection. Just as importantly, it means finding and addressing the moisture that let it grow in the first place.

FAQ
Common questions
Can’t I just clean mould myself with bleach?
For a small patch on a hard surface, sometimes. But bleach doesn’t address spores in porous materials or the moisture cause, and scrubbing can spread spores through the home. For anything more than a small spot — or if anyone has health concerns — it’s worth doing properly.
Is the mould making my family sick?
Mould can affect breathing, allergies and asthma, especially for children, older people and anyone with a respiratory condition. Removing it safely and fixing the damp reduces that exposure.
Will the mould come back?
Not if the moisture source is fixed. Mould needs moisture to grow — that’s why we always identify and address the damp, not just clean the surface.
Do you test to prove it’s gone?
We can arrange independent clearance testing through an occupational hygienist so you have written confirmation the area is clear — useful for rentals and sales especially.
